About the Owner

Kevin Krohn

Kevin was born and raised in a small Nebraska town. He grew up with that hard work ethic and learned many things hands on around the farm. At the young age of 14, Kevin hired on with a local roofing company where he started as a ground man cleaning up the removal debris. After a year of being the low man on the totem pole, Kevin moved up to the roof where he would throw shingles and eventually ran the nail gun tacking shingles to the roof. In 2007, Kevin changed scenery and went to work with a friend whose dad had a concrete plant and construction business. Kevin started again as the guy doing the grunt work but was eventually a part of the entire operation from operating a shovel to finishing concrete with a bull float.

In 2009, Kevin graduated high school and went on to college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kevin would return to his hometown each summer to continue the construction work and race dirt track at the local speedway. By the summer of 2013, Kevin had secured his bachelor’s degree in construction management as well as already had 8 years of construction experience from concrete, to roofing, to siding and gutters. Kevin accepted a position as a project engineer with one of the largest General Contracting companies in the United States, Kiewit Infrastructure.

Kevin took on a slight culture shock after hiring on with Kiewit where he would move from a small Nebraska town of 1,700 people, down to New Orleans, LA. He spent the next 4 years working on massive pump stations for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The pump stations were some of the final protection structures put in place because of Hurricane Katrina. Kevin started with the grading crews dredging thousands of yards of mud out of the canals to allow for the structure to be built. Once the grading operations were at a slow point, Kevin was reassigned to help with the concrete structure. Kevin was involved in some very complicated work that included pouring 5,000 CY of concrete 50’ underwater. The amount of experience Kevin acquired during his time in New Orleans was huge.

In 2016, Kevin met his wife at the local horse track. Soon after, their daughter Olivia would reroute the young couple from New Orleans to Charlotte, NC. Kevin took on a role as a Project Manager with Lithko Contracting in the fall of 2017 where he would manage multiple concrete structures. Lithko presented a very similar company structure yet provided a local market target which would work out great for Kevin and his family.

Kevin spent the next 7 years working on several projects from hospital buildings to parking garages to apartment buildings to office buildings to company headquarters. As a Project Manager, Kevin managed the budget, contracts, schedules, change orders and project teams. Kevin always had a goal to start his own construction company and in 2023, he did just that. Though it was only small projects for the last two years, Kevin has worked on growing and spreading his services. In January of 2025, Kevin officially went on his own pursuing his dream of running his own construction company.
